Tuensang, November 18 (MExN): The District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Tuensang meeting cum picnic was held under the chairmanship of Imtichuba MLA and Chairman DPDB Tuensang at Shopilak Resort, Tuensang village on November 18.
A DIPR report stated that Rohbi Sangtam, SDO(C) Noksen, after reviewing the minutes of the last month meeting, proposed that the next DPDB meeting be held in Noksen town. “Being one of the oldest Sub Divisions in the State, Noksen lacks development in various areas, and hosting the meeting there could uplift the spirits of the public,” it stated.
The Board decided to recommend to the department the addition of a parking area on the ground floor of the newly constructed DC Office Tuensang. DC Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, urged district HODs with additional charge of Noklak and Shamator districts to attend the Planning Meeting without fail. The DC Tuensang issued a notification to all village councils to assist the Power Department, stated the DIPR report.
Expressing gratitude for active participation, the Chairman DPDB Tuensang informed that Dr T Ao Trophy scheduled to be held in Tuensang will be played day and night.
