Zunheboto, July 10 (MExN): The District Planning & Development Board Zunheboto under the chairmanship of the Vice Chairman and Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, Shanavas C, IAS organised the felicitation programme for HSLC and HSSLC Toppers in the Zunheboto district which was organised alon with DPDB meeting at DC’s conference Hall on July 10.
The DC while giving away the awards said that DPDB is not only facilitating the students but also encouraging them so that they will have a bright career in the days to come. "You achieved something so we are encouraging you so that you can achieve more in future", he stated.
The distinction for MIL (Sumi) in HSLC is awarded to Millento I Achumi of GHSS Zunheboto and Vitoli K Yeptho of GHSS Satakha is awarded for social science and environmental studies and Milen V of GHSS is awarded for HSSLC topper from the district Earlier, the DC requested all the members to be on station saying that being a government servant we should be loyal and serve the people so that our district will move ahead with the rest of the world. He further stated that the duty of the centre is to make paper work which is easy but to implement is our duty so that you should always be on station and work for our district.
Meanwhile the board reviewed the last meeting minutes followed by introduction of the members. Zunheboto electrical division gave power point presentation on the activities carried out by the department. In the meeting, DC informed the members about the fish ban in the district which is still in force and it was learned that the five fish is already sent to Kohima for testing which is found to be positive.
