Dimapur, May 17 (MExN): Delhi Public School (DPS), Dimapur continues to excel in the CBSE AISSCE examinations, consistently delivering some of the best results in the region. Each year, students have been raising the bar, showcasing remarkable academic progress.
In recognition of their outstanding performance, a felicitation ceremony was held for the student achievers of the AISSCE examination on May 17 in the school. The event was graced by the Chairman S.I Jamir, other members of the school management, parents and Principal G Mala, stated a press release received here.
A total of 28 students who scored 90% and above were felicitated at the ceremony and an amount of Rs 5.2 lakh were given out as cash awards: 10 students scoring 95% to 97% received a cash award of Rs 25,000 each; 18 students scoring 90.2% to 94.4% received a cash award of Rs 15,000 each.
The school topper, Yash Kumar Jain (Commerce) achieved an impressive 97%, setting a high benchmark for academic excellence.
Exceptional subject-wise performances included: 16 students scoring a perfect 100 in Painting; 9 students scoring 100 in Artificial Intelligence, with the subject recording a remarkable average of 97%. Two students also recorded a perfect score of 100 in Business Studies and Informatics Practices.
