Dr Rüüzeno Kuotsu receives Sushruta Award

KOHIMA, OCTOBER 27 (MExN): Adding feather to the cap of medical practitioners and Nagas in general, Dr.Rüüzeno Kuotsu, a Master of Surgery in ENT from AIIMS Raipur has been conferred with Sushruta Award 2024 for academic excellence.

She received the award from President of India Droupadi Murmu on October 25.

She is daughter of Vicha Kuotsu from Tsiepama village under Chumukedima district.

Started in 2018, Sushruta Awards recognize prominent people who work in the health sector.

The awards named after Sushruta, a celebrated Physician and Surgeon from Ancient India who is known as the “Father of Plastic Surgery.”
