Kohima, August 4 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee has congratulated Dr Shurhozelie Liezietsu on winning the bye-election to the 10 Northern Angami- I Assembly Constituency.
“His record of winning an assembly seat for the 9th time speaks of his monumental achievement as regional patriarch and this will remain a colossal landmark in the history of Nagaland Legislative Assembly for all times to come,” the NPCC stated in a congratulatory message.
The NPCC also lauded Dr Shurhozelie and the NPF party for severing ties with the “communal” BJP and expressed hope that they will maintain their regional identity.
