NFA officials with others after fixture draw programme in Kohima on April 9

The XXII Inter-District Football Championship 2022 (Dr T Ao Trophy) will take place from April 18 to 29 at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung.
It will take place under the aegis of Nagaland Football Association (NFA) in collaboration with Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Government of Nagaland and Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA) at host.
16 teams representing 16 districts have confirmed their participation.
The fixture draw was done on April 9 at Dr. Talimeren Ao Conference Hall, Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) office complex in Kohima.
It will be played on league-cum- knock out system.
The teams have been divided into four groups. Group A: Phek, Dimapur, Chümoukedima, Wokha. Group B: Mon, Niuland, Tuensang, Kiphire. Group C: Peren, Noklak, Shamator, Longleng. Group D: Kohima, Mokokchung, Zunheboto, Tseminyu.
The champion will carry a prize money of Rs. 3 lakh while runner-up will receive Rs. 2 lakh. The losing semi finalists will get Rs. 50,000 each.
