Dimapur, November 6 (MExN): Pertinent to the vests Gaonburas wear, the GBs union of Dimapur today issued a number of specifications. The union said in a note today that the GBs’ waist coats should be made with the red blanket provided by the government. All GBs are to wear their respective tribe waist coat with the red-front and the traditional symbol on the back. GBs without any traditional symbol should wear the waist coat with the red-front and red-back, preferably satin or “silk”, the union stated. Naga tribe GBs should use their tribal motif ‘cloth’ for the back. No GB is to use a waist coat using the motif of the DBs, that is, waist coats having black “cloth” on the back.
