Dimapur, July 15 (MExN): The Commissioner of Police (CP) Dimapur has informed that, any Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) (Drones, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) etc.) shall not be flown within an aerial distance of 3 km from the perimeter of the Dimapur Airport. The direction is in adherence to the Civil Aviation Requirement, Section 3 – Air Transport; Series X Part 1 Issue 1 dated August 27, 2018, according to a notification from the CP. “Violations shall amount to suspension /cancellation of the UIN/ UAOP of the RPA issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and shall attract punitive action under relevant sections of Indian Penal code, Aircraft Act 1934, the Aircraft Rules 1937 or any statutory provisions,” it added.
