‘Drug Free Nagaland’ rally held in Kohima

Kohima, January 12 (MExN): Under the banner ‘Drug Free Nagaland,’ the Assam Rifles in collaboration with Brahma Kumari and Kripa Foundation organised rally and workshop against drug addiction on the occasion of International Youth Day at Kohima on January 12.

A total of 150 participants from Gorkha Youth Association, Assam Rifles Ex-servicemen Association (Youth Wing) and troops of Assam Rifles participated in the Rally from Phoolbari (Old MLA’s Hostel junction) Kohima to Kenguruse Auditorium in Kohima Garrison.

The event was followed by Kiosk visit of Kripa Foundation wherein the participants were educated on the aftermath of drug abuse and substance consumption and the measures and means to overcome the addiction. Pamphlets were also distributed to the participants which further highlighted the effects of Drug Abuse and remedies to overcome the substance consumption.

A workshop was also organised by Brahma Kumari Foundation on “Determined mind for successful life” wherein BD Rupa from Brahma Kumari Foundation focused on determined and disciplined mindset to achieve success and overcome the hurdles in the path of success.
