WOKHA, JUNE 10 (MExN): The Drugs Control Officer under Chief Medical Officer Wokha along with the District Administration and Police Department, Wokha conducted enforcement exercise on pharmacies in Wokha town on June 10.
A press release issued by the CMO office informed that the enforcement exercise was based on the cancellation order from the Controlling and Licensing Authority of the State, Drug Control Administration under Department of Health and Family Welfare.
Altogether Drug Licence of 15 pharmacies was cancelled within Wokha town. The pharmacies were found to be in violation of Rule 65 (2) of Drug and Cosmetic Rules 1945 and Section 42 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
