Kohima, April 2 (MExN): In pursuance of the Science & Technology director’s letter dated February 6, 2018 requesting to commemorate National Science Day 2018 on the theme ‘Science & Technology for a Sustainable Future,’ office of the District Education Officer (DEO), Kohima under the sponsorship of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Nagaland is organizing a Science lecture on the aforementioned theme on April 6 at Little Flower Higher Secondary School, Kohima at 10:30 am.
A press release from DEO Kohima, Piholi Swunetho stated that the programme will be compulsorily attended by high school students up to the level of class 10.
Each of the under mentioned short-listed schools are to send 15 students to attend the programme: Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School, Little Flower Hr. Sec. School, St. Mary's Cathedral Hr. Sec. School, Mezhür Hr. Sec. School, Ministers' Hill Baptist Hr. Sec. School, Holy Family, Fernwood School, Dainty Buds, Khedi Baptist Hr. Sec. School, Mt. Sinai Hr. Sec. School, Northfield School, N. Kire Govt. Hr. Sec. School, T.M. Govt. Hr. Sec. School, and Rüzhükhrie Govt. Hr. Sec. School.
