
The District Tobacco Control Cell (DTCC) Mokokchung visited the Quarantine Center and Hospital at Impur Mission Center on June 11. A report from the Chief Medical Officer Office stated that the team raised awareness on spitting, smoking and chewing of Tobacco products by providing IEC posters at the quarantine centers for the inmates to paste in their respective rooms. Further, Dr Taliwaba, District Nodal Officer NTCP (National Tobacco Control Programme) Mokokchung, gave a briefing about ‘Tobacco use and its effects relating to COVID-19.’ The team provided 100 mosquito repellents, 50 tissue rolls and 5 dustbins for Quarantine Center use.
