Dimapur, July 28 (MExN): The Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation (DUCCF) has extended its full support and solidarity to the Kevijau colony council and public in their “effort for justice.”
In a press note issued by its Media Cell, the DUCCF also vehemently condemned the “uncivilized acts” perpetrated by four miscreants upon some youths of Kevijau colony on July 25. “Such manhandling and using of guns is nothing but an act of showing off one's barbaric nature which is totally unacceptable and must be condemned by all, it added.
It also called upon all the Council leaders and Youths within Dimapur Municipal Area to be vigilant and cautioned “befitting punishment” would be meted out if such incident occurs within DUCCF jurisdiction in future. The DCUUF further lauded the Dimapur Police for arresting the accused in time and urged the Police to investigate the case throughly and book the arrested miscreants as per the law.
