Dimapur, October 9 (MExN): Naga People’s Front (NPF) has extended happy, peaceful, and prosperous Durga Puja greetings to all. “During this Puja season, let us remind ourselves that God Almighty has kept us safe and sound, showering his blessings upon us all, irrespective of greed, colour or faith under peaceful and conducive atmosphere, with the privilege to celebrate Durga Puja, the ceremonial worship of the mother goddess,” stated a press release from NPF Media & Press Bureau.
In a separate press note, BJP Nagaland State President Visasolie Lhoungu, office bearers, and members of the party wished the citizens bountiful blessings on the occasion of Durga Puja. “The BJP Nagaland cherishes the colorful cosmopolitan character of the society and takes delight in the joys of various religions and communities that come alight during festivals bringing about understanding, love and cooperation between different members of the society,” stated the press note from Jaangsillung Gonmei, General Secretary (Media), BJP Nagaland.
MLA Tovihoto Ayemi also extended heartiest Durja Puja greetings to the Hindu community of Dimapur and wished that the festive season enrich the life of every devotee with joy, peace and harmony. Meanwhile, he appealed for an environmental and ecological conscious celebration marked with lots of happiness and camaraderie among the people. “Let the festive significance of the victory of good over evil be emulated and exhibited in our day-to-day life for a harmonious living among different communities,” he added.
