Kohima, February 7 (DIPR): The first round training for Presiding Officers, 1st Polling Officers and additional Polling Officers for Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) was held on February 6 at Razhukhrie Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima.
Briefing the trainees, District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan (IAS) stated there is no compromise on election as long as the guidelines of ECI are concerned. He urged them to stick with the latest guidelines and instruction and focus on the training programme. He further asked the trainees to clarify their doubts from the Master Trainers while dealing with the election matters in order to avoid any problems.
SDO (C), Development, Kohima, in-charge of Personnel/Manpower and Training Management, Zhoi Lohe informed the polling personnel who have applied for exemption from election duty on medical grounds to appear before the Medical Board at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima on February 8 and 9 at 11:30 am.
