Dimapur, August 10 (MExN): Following the declaration of Diphupar village as an ‘Alcohol free zone,’ on July 25, the Diphupar Village Council has barred two individuals from doing any kind of business activities within Diphupar jurisdiction for a period of 6 months.
According to a press release on Wednesday, one Alongdi Longchar has been barred for business activities within Diphupar jurisdiction with effect from August 6, 2022. Similarly, another Vikaho Chophi has been barred with effect from August 12 on account of selling alcohol.
The release stated that an Auto Rickshaw bearing registration number NL07 F5032, an Alto car (silver colour) bearing registration number WB52P 7769, belonging to the two individuals, as well as auto rickshaw (unknown owner) bearing registration NL07 F5301 have also been seized on account of selling alcohol.
