Kohima, September 11 (MExN): District Welfare Officer (DWO) Kohima informed all beneficiaries under the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme/Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme/Indira Gandhi National Disability Scheme) and under the State SOAP (State Old Age Pension) for the year 2019-2020 that the payments will be made in the office of the DWO Kohima from September 22.
It may be noted here that due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the payments will be made to the chairman of the respective colonies and villages on producing the life certificate of the beneficiaries from the local pastor. In this connection, beneficiaries have been requested to submit the passbooks to their respective chairman.
The payment will be made from September 22 to November 3 for different areas. This was stated in a release issued by Akali Sema, DWO Kohima.
