DYO condemns ENSF for threatening its member

Kohima, February 18 (MExN): The Dapfhutsumia Youth Organisation (DYO), Kohima village has condemned the Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) for threatening its member Pele Khezhie by using “provocative words” in its press statements published in local dailies on February 10 last.

The organisation in a condemnation note retorted: “We condemn the press statement in the strongest term as “unwanted situation” could be quite dangerous if constructed otherwise.”

It also alleged that DYO cannot “remain silent or tolerate such threat” imposed upon any of its bona fide member. Moreover, it has warned that if any “event” arises out of the issue upon Pele Khezhie then ENSF will be held “solely responsible”.

The note further added that it is unfortunate on the part of such a “reputed federation” to be making “imperiling statement against an individual”, adding to that it said the phrase “unwanted situation” used by the ENSF as “immature and imprudent”.
