Kohima, July 2 (MExN): Department of Youth Resources & Sports (DYRS) defeated Nagaland Football Association (NFA) XI in an exhibition match played at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima on July 1.
The exhibition match was played during the last day of the week-long 1st Nagaland Open Women Football League cum Knockout Tournament organized by DYRS.
Vizobeilie Victor Punyu and Kezevituo Vizo scored a goal each for the winning team DYRS.
Azho Sophie netted a lone goal for NFA.
Former MLA Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire graced the occasion as match patron.
