E-Kata National Karate C’ship from July 14

Imphal, June 16 (MExN): An E-Kata National Karate Championship is scheduled to be held from July 14 to 16 under the President of International Shito Ryu Karate Federation, India (ISKF-India) and the President of All Nagaland Karate Do Association (ANKA) Shihan T Sangtam, Chief Engineer.

According to a press release received here today, the ISKF-India’s E-Kata National karate Championship is organised to encourage and motivate the straitened karatekas (Karate Players) to move forward, to be strong and competent during the pandemic and continue practicing.

The release informed that entry fees will not be taken from the participating individuals/team and the Champions will be presented Gi-Suits (Karate Uniform) for every category.

The categories for the championship includes Senior Men, Senior Women, Junior Boys, Junior Girls, Cadet Boys, Cadet Girls, 12/13 yrs Boys, 12/13 yrs Girls, 10/11 yrs Boys, 10/11 yrs Girls, 8/9 yrs Boys and 8/9 yrs Girls.

The organizers informed that the E-Kata is dedicated to the mentor of Indian Karate, Hanshi Bharat Sharma on his 56th birthday on July 14. He is also the President of South Asian Karate Federation.
