Earthquake disaster mock drill conducted at Tuensang

TUENSANG, OCTOBER 10 (MExN): A mock earthquake disaster drill was conducted at the New DC Office Complex, Tuensang, on October 10, by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in collaboration with the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Tuensang.

The exercise simulated an earthquake scenario involving fire incidents, building collapse, search and rescue operations, and evacuation. The drill was organised jointly by 12 BN NDRF, DDMA Tuensang, and the District Administration, with participation from Home Guard & Civil Defence, SDRF Tuensang, Fire and Emergency Services, District Executive Force (DEF), DPRO, Medical Department, and NCC Tuensang.

In a debriefing session, Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, appreciated the departments for their active participation and adherence to assigned responsibilities. Following the drill, NDRF conducted hands-on training for NCC participants.
