Lumami, November 22 (MExN): The East Zone Inter University Badminton (Women) Tournament - 2023 commenced on November 21 at Nagaland University, Lumami, marking the initiation of a thrilling display of athleticism and competitive spirit.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Sunil Kumar Barnwal, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Education, as chief guest. Joining the celebration were Vice Chancellor, Prof Jagadish Kumar Patnaik, Registrar Dr Abemo, and various officials.
Deputy Director of Sports and Organizing Secretary, Harish Kumar Tiwari, while addressing the gathering, expressed his delight at the overwhelming participation of over 30 teams representing different universities.
