Noklak, June 23 (DIPR): The Eastern Women organization of Noklak area organized workshop for men and women from 22nd to June 23 at Komking Noklak under the theme ‘Together we build for changes’ which was sponsored by DUDA. Temsula Thingchum, who was the resource person poke on the topic ‘architect of society’. Berila Tokiu, President Eastern Nagaland Women Organization (SNWO) and Temsula Thingchum, Member (KSCWR) also spoke and encouraged the men folk who have been affected for the last few months due to inter tribal clashes.
They said such incident was important for the people to shun violence as it strengthened the growth of community in all aspects and to work together so as to bring about transformational changes in the area. She said woman has been bestowed with a role and responsibility to play in the society. She also stressed on the importance of hygiene and education and urged them to change their mindset. Leaders from various organizations attended the workshop.
