ECC Nagaland conducts 6th Edu Fair in Kohima

The Educentre Career Counseling (ECC) Nagaland has conducted 6th edition of Edu Fair 2023 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima on June 26. Abir Bhowmik of NGF College of Engineering & Technology, Delhi NCR formally inaugurated the Fair.

17 reputed colleges and universities from different parts of India joined this year Edu Fair and provided information and counseling about various courses, scholarships, placements and career and study opportunities in India and abroad.

This platform (Edu Fair) has been launched for students to understand the different kind of courses available in the various institutions, said ECC founder Lezo Putsure.

Talking to The Morung Express, Putsure said that Edu Fair provides opportunity to the students to interact with the institutions and to avail career opportunities. It also aims to connect them to different scholarships being offered by the different institutions.

‘We are luckily growing’
“We are luckily growing,” Putsure said. ECC started with four colleges in 2018, and today, about 17 to 20 colleges are associated with ECC for Edu Fair.

Edu Fair event partners includes The Knowledge Network, ABBS, Krupanidhi Group of Institutions, Manav Rachna and Starex University, Gurugram, Lead College of Management, Primpri Chinchwad University, IMADE Digital Academy and AIMS Institutes, Bangalore as co- sponsors.

Edu Fair 2023 featured reputed institutions like; Krupanadi Group of institutions, Bangalore, Acharya Bangalore B-School , Bangalore, Subharti University, Delhi NCR Meerut, Parul University, Vadodara Gujarat, Starex University, Gurugram,  AIMS Institutes, Bangalore, Pimpri Chinchwad University, Pune PCU, NGF College of Engineering and Technology, Delhi NCR, School net and Learnet Skills for life, Guwahati,  Surendera Group of Institutions, Sri Ganganagar Rajasthan, Manav Rachna, Delhi, Lead College of Management, Kerala, Admission India, Shillong partner of Educentre, Kanlinga University KIT deemed to be university, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, IMADE Academy, Bangalore, CT University, Ludhiana and Entrepreneurship Development Program, Dimapur.

The available course in those institutions includes; management, pharmacy, commerce, journalism, engineering, science, mass communication, tourism, arts, professional courses etc.

Meanwhile, similar Edu Fair will take place in Dimapur on June 27 at Hotel Acacia. It will start from 9:30 am till 3:30 pm. ECC extended invitation to the parents and students to be part of the fair. The organizer announced free entry to the fair.

Asanu Hibo, manager of ECC informed that the core idea of organizing Edu Fair is to provide a platform to the students to get access to diverse courses in various colleges and universities. She said that about 600 students have been registered for the fair via website.

ECC has its office in Kohima (Old NST) and Dimapur (The Morung Express building, Duncan). Students can visit the office for career and educational counseling.

EduCentre has been rated by students, parents and partners as the specialized career counselors in Nagaland. Since the inception of Edu Fair in 2018, it has assisted over 5000+ students by supplying information about various courses, institutions, universities, scholarships, placements and opportunities to study across India and abroad.
