Kohima, February 17 (MExN): The Election Commission of India has appointed three special observers in Nagaland for the ensuing General Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly, 2023 to ensure smooth, free and fair election.
The details of the special observers are as follow: Special Expenditure Observer - BR Balakrishnan, IRS (Retd) - 9366732507; Special General Observer - Ajay V Nayak, IAS (Retd) - 9863186669; Special Police Observer - Anil Kumar Sharma IPS (Retd) – 9366297676.
In this regard and in the larger interest of the general public, the CEO Nagaland, V Shashank Shekar, IAS informed that all stakeholders, political parties, intending candidates and general public to take note of the same for interaction, doubt clarification and lodging of complaints if any, to the special observers to ensure peaceful and smooth conduct of the upcoming elections.
