Kohima, November 1 (MExN): The Election Commission of India vide letter No.23/ERS/2012-Vol.III dated October 31 has extended the period for filling claims and objections upto November 20 (Tuesday) for the ongoing special summary revision of electoral rolls with reference to January 1, 2013 as the qualifying date, for all the assembly constituencies in the State of Nagaland alongwith 23 other states & union territories. All other schedules remain the same, informed Chief Election Officer, J. Alam, to the presidents of all political parties of Nagaland.
The Election Commission of India has also appointed two electoral roll observers namely:
