ECS plans health training for expectant mothers

Chessore, July 18 (MExN): A team of staff led by Toshila, Program Manager from Eleutheros Christian Society (ECS) Tuensang, visited the Primary Health Centre at Chessore Town on July 18 and held a community meeting with the stakeholders. 

The meeting discussed and focused on the health programme, primarily on improving maternal health, stated a DIPR report. 

It informed that the ECS plans to conduct extensive training and raise awareness within the community, with a special emphasis on expectant mothers. The health programme will initially be rolled out in Chessor Town and village, with plans to later expand to neighbouring villages. 

It also emphasised that the ECS will assist in revitalizing the Ayushman Bharat programme at the PHC. It was resolved that ECS will help in the process of coordinating with the Department to secure an ambulance for Chessore PHC.
