Dimapur, September 16 (MExN): The East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC) has directed that all wholesalers and suppliers bringing in and selling products or items within its jurisdiction must compulsorily obtain a valid trading licence or permit from the EDTC office with immediate effect.
In a press release, the EDTC cautioned that failure to comply with the order will be treated as a violation, and necessary action will be initiated against defaulters.
According to the council, the order has been issued in the interest of maintaining proper regulation, transparency, and accountability in commercial activities under its jurisdiction.
