Educentre School of Business launched their first women collegeprenuer programme on August 31.

Dimapur, September 1 (MExN): Educentre School of Business launched their first women collegeprenuer programme. This programme is to empower young women with the necessary skills and knowledge should they one day decide to become an entrepreneur. The core idea is to give opportunity to the female students to come up with a business idea and execute it. The business has to be innovative and scalable and in lines of the startup India eco system, stated a press release received here. The teams received seed money of Rs 10,000 to give support to their business. 

On the occasion A Temjem Jamir, Director, Industries and Commerce, Nagaland shared his appreciation towards the college students for taking up this opportunity as entrepreneurship is the main impetus to deliver for future generations, and expressed his content on witnessing women stepping out of their comfort zone. He also shared his insightful inputs and knowledge on how even the Government has approved to provide 25% of funds reserved for women and uplifted the women collegepreneur to take on the opportunity.

Keneirienuo Kire, Deputy Director , Industries and Commerce, team leader of start-up Nagaland also extended her support for women entrepreneurs to take up space, and work hard to be recognised and to nurture future young generation.

She also expressed that women has always played a major role in society in each and every step. 

Viseino Basumatari, Saucy Joe's Co-founder, shared her entrepreneurial journey and struggle. She narrated how she kept herself motivated and kept pushing herself to achieve higher goals. 

EduCentre School of Business is an incubator under the Department of Industries and commerce. Startup Nagaland has helped over 50+ startups and worked with 200+ entrepreneurs in the last three years.
