
Kohima, March 20 (MExN): The Executive Engineer (EE) of the Transmission Division in Kohima issued two separate notifications informing the public about the "test charged" at two sub-stations.
The first notification concerns four 132kV bays at the 220/132 kV Zhadima (New Kohima Sub-Station) LILO 132kV Kohima–Wokha at 220/132 kV Zhadima (New Kohima Sub-Station), scheduled for 11 AM on March 22. The transmission line passing through Zhadima Village, Nerhema-Phezha village, and will remain charged thereafter, the division informed.
Meanwhile, the 132kV D/C Transmission line from Zhadima to Nagaland University, along with 132/33kV, 2x25 MVA at Nagaland University Sub-station, will also be test charged at the rated voltage at 11 AM on March 26 and remain charged thereafter. The line passes through Zhadima Village, Nerhema-Phezha, Thizama, Meriema, and Nagaland University.
Accordingly, the notification informed the public to refrain from touching the said lines or going near them. "Anyone doing so shall be doing so at their own risk, and the Department of Power shall not be held responsible for any untoward incident whatsoever," it added.
