Kohima, July 9 (MExN): The Department of Rural Development, Nagaland with the support of Ministry of Panchayati Raj and NIC conducted handholding and training support on eGram Swaraj application for State Level Users at Hotel Vivor on July 9. 

eGram Swaraj is a mobile application that showcases the progress of various activities taken up by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj. It has been developed with an emphasis on extending greater transparency and access to information to the citizens of India. 

A press note received here stated that the training included sessions on eGram Swaraj background, Profile Module, Planning Module, Reporting Module, Accounting Module and eGSPI on boarding, conducted by resource persons from MoPR, Shlokarth Trivedi, Subodh Gurjar and Sumit Tyagi. The training commenced with a welcome address by Joint director, RD, K Neibou Sekhose and concluded with vote of thanks by RDO, J Wesley Magh.
