DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 5 (MExN): Eight more legislators have resigned from their seats at the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA). Seven of them include Amenba Yaden (Independent), Er Levi Rengma (Independent), G Kaito Aye (NPF), S Chuba Longkumer (Independent), YM Yollow (Independent), Toyang Chankong Chang (Independent) and Er Picto (Independent). Their resignations have been accepted by the NLA Speaker. As a result, the NLA Speaker has declared seats to 21 Tuli (ST), 12 Tseminyu (ST), 36 Satakha (ST), 24 Angetyongpang (ST), 42 Wakching (ST), 53 Tuensang Sadar I (ST), and Atoizu 32 (ST) Assembly Constituencies as vacant. It was later informed that Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu, representing 11 Northern Angami II A/C also tendered his resignation from 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly. The resignation letter was addressed to the NLA speaker.
