Wokha, July 29 (DIPR): Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Tamil Nadu Ajay Yadav (IAS) along with officials from Election Commission, IT Section, Tamil Nadu visited Wokha on July 29 and held a meeting with the Deputy Commissioner, ERO, AERO, BLOs and Supervisors at DC conference hall.
The Joint CEO informed that the purpose of their visit was to observe and study about the activities of National Electoral Roll Purification (NERP) in the district. During the meeting, he also suggested ways and means to strengthen the activities while carrying out the exercise. ADC, Wokha, Thavaseelan (IAS) gave a PowerPoint presentation on NERP and SVEEP exercise and activities undertaken in the district.
