Pughoboto, February 7 (DIPR): Training for Presiding Officers, all polling personnel, and Grade IV staff for the forthcoming State general election was held at Pughoboto Town Hall on February 6.
ADC & DEO of Pughoboto, Avelu Ruho stated that the election duties assigned to them is a constitutional duty and therefore urged them to be well equipped to conduct the election smoothly.
Informing the officers to carefully study the rules and regulation of their assignments, she asked them not to take their duties and trainings lightly as unlike other times this year’s election procedures have many new things, including VVPATs, web casting in the polling stations etc.
The ADC & DEO further informed the duty officials to fill up the Postal Ballot Form 12 and submit it to the Nodal Officer. She also apprised them to clarify any doubts and difficulties if unexpected things happen at any time.
Master Trainers were SDO Soil, Ruokuosietuo, Nisheto, Vikitonou, and Bokavi.
