(Photo by Soreishim Mahong)[/caption] IN THE LINE OF DUTY: Polling officials and security personnel are seen trekking to Old Thewati village for their election duty in this screen grabs shared on social media. Old Thewati Village is situated in the Nazapfu range of Meluri Sub Division under Phek district. The village, which borders Burma, near the International Border Pillar 132 and is about 120 kilometers from Meluri Headquarter. A notification from the Election Commission of India informed that it is included in the polling stations also known as P-2 stations, for which the poll timings has been notified from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Due to the far-flung and remote terrain of these locations, polling parties have to move out from the dispersal centre (District Hq.) two days prior to date of poll. There are 102 such polling stations in Nagaland spread over 8 (eight) Assembly Constituencies falling under six districts- 9 in Kiphire, 41 in Mon, 12 in Phek, 8 in Tuensang, 30 in Wokha and 3 in Zunheboto.
