Briefing on Election Expenditure Monitoring
Mokokchung, February 11 (MExN): In view of the upcoming general election to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, a co-ordination meeting cum briefing session on Election Expenditure Monitoring with the intending candidates, election agents, additional agents, ward authorities, village council authorities of 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 Assembly Constituencies under Mokokchung district have been scheduled for February 13, 11:00 am at ADC Planning conference hall, Mokokchung. The Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer of Mokokchung, Sachin Jaiswal (IAS) has informed all concerned to attend the meeting positively.
Kohima Local Ground requisitioned for election
Kohima, February 11 (DIPR): The Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer of Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan (IAS) has informed that Kohima Local Ground has been requisitioned for parking and deployment of vehicles engaged in conduct of Assembly Election 2018 from evening of February 17 till March 4. Therefore, no applications for allotment of the Local Ground will be entertained for the mentioned period.
Meeting in Pughoboto
Pughoboto, February 11 (MExN): ADC & DEO of Pughoboto, Avelu Ruho has informed that a meeting with the General Observer of 13th Pughoboto A/C will be held on February 12 at 4:00 pm at the ADC office in Pughoboto. All contesting candidates and election agents, representatives of all political parties, Nodal Officers of various committees set up under the election machinery have been informed to attend the meeting without fail.
Meeting with BLOs in Peren
Peren, February 11 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer of Peren has informed all Booth Level Officers (BLOs) under 6 Tening and 7 Peren Assembly Constituencies that there will be a meeting with all BLOs on February 13, 11:00 am at Town Hall, Peren. Remuneration for all BLOs in connection with SSR 2018 will be distributed on the same day, the DC & DEO stated in a press release, directing all BLOs to attend the meeting without fail.
