DIMAPUR, JANUARY 30 (MExN): Governor of Nagaland has fixed February 7, 2020 as the date of election for the post of the Speaker of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly. A notification issued by Secretary, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Dr PJ Anthony informed that the date of filing of nomination papers will be from February 3 11 am till 12 noon February 5, 2020. The date of withdrawal will be on February 5 from 1-3 pm. It may be recalled that following the demise of the then NLA Speaker, Late Vikho-o Yhoshu on December 30, 2019, Deputy Speaker Sharingain Longkumer had been temporarily shouldering the responsibility as the Speaker-in-Charge.
