Eleutheros Christian Society (ECS) Self Help Group is celebrating its silver jubilee under the theme ‘Empowering women, empowering humanity’ at Tuensang Town Baptist Lashong in Tuensang on November 24 and 25.
The jubilee special guest is Tiakala Ao, General Manager/Officer Incharge, NABARD Regional office, Nagaland while the speakers are Rev Achu Chang, Executive Secretary, CBLT and Akala, President, Changsao Thangjam Setshang.
In the first night, Rev Pastor Sangkap, TTBL, Chairman, Governing Board, ECS opened the jubilee celebration after which the programme was led by Ason, Program Manager, Micro Finance, ECS.
The message was delivered by Rev Achu Chang, Executive Secretary, CBLT.
Naro, Ngangpong & Chingmelen Edou read the scriptures and pronounced the invocation while the obituary prayer was pronounced by Pastor Imjungba, Sangtam Baptist Church, Tuensang.
I Chongshen Soted, Director Programmes delivered the welcome address followed by a special number from SHG, Tuensang Village.
Limaonen, former Staff, ECS delivered a short speech and was followed by another special number by LangaThulumso, Kuthur SHGs. Apang, Tuensang town, former SHG member also shared her experience. Senti, Momching village Sangshen Range Edou pronounced the benediction.
