Enable announces calendar for dealing with special children

Kohima, April 11 (MExN): Enable will be visiting schools in Kohima and Phek district with a team of resource persons in the last week of April and early May.
The visit is aimed at helping teachers to deal effectively with special children in the classrooms in an inclusive set- up. Enable is a group working for the rights and needs of people affected by disability in Nagaland. With an aims of sensitizing society about issues pertaining to disability, the group has been conducting researches in its two pilot districts of Kohima and Phek funded by the state government under the capacity building programme.
A one day seminar cum workshop is also slated to be conducted in Pfutsero, Phek Town and Tseminyu town in May for parents and teachers dealing with children and persons with special needs.
