Tuensang, March 14 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland College Students’ Union (ENCSU) today launched its educational tour within Eastern Nagaland at Zisaji Presidency College, Kiphire.
The team had an interaction with the management and Students Council of the College, informed a press release issued by ENCSU chairman, Longre Chang and joint secretary, Nokchem Angth.
The ENCSU appreciated the dedication and sincerity of the college management for the uplift of the college despite “hardship and instability” of the college in all the sectors.The union particularly applauded the initiative of the college’s principal for the welfare of the students like conducting counseling, mentoring the students, providing an opportunity to the civil service aspirants and the students by setting up a mini library for study and mobilizing a students’ welfare fund to help the underprivileged students of the college, the release added.
However, the union expressed dissatisfaction at the college infrastructure and other developmental activities of the college.
The team will further proceed to other parts of Eastern Nagaland and culminate the tour in Mon.
