Tuensang, October 28 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland College Students' Union (ENCSU) on October 28 highlighted that the COVID-19 SOPs with regard to transportation is still being followed in Eastern Nagaland and the public transport fares in the area for a passenger is thrice the amount as compared to the rate in other districts.
Students of Eastern Nagaland have to pay accordingly; the Union said while adding that “the half month salary of middle class family is spent on taxi fares and transportation fares.” It noted that districts like Dimapur and Kohima are functioning normally and as such, requested the concerned authority to look into the prevailing situation and consider the matter at the earliest.
