DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 22 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland Legislatures’ Union (ENLU) has appealed to the Eastern Nagaland College Students’ Union (ENCSU) to call off the ongoing agitation imposed in the entire Eastern Nagaland jurisdiction in connection to the recent selection of MBBS/Technical course, normally reserved for backward tribes and NSEE II Exam 2016. A press statement from ENLU secretary R Tohanba while appealing the ENCSU to call of the agitation in the larger interest of the ENPO area in particular and Nagaland in general, has assured that the ENLU shall take up the matter to the State Government, particularly to Higher & Technical Education to solve the grievances amicably through consultation. This resolve was made during an emergency meeting on October 21 at the official residence of CL John, Minister, RD & REPA, the press statement added.
