ENPO calls for ‘indefinite shut down’ in eastern Nagaland

Dimapur, April 18 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) has called for ‘eastern Nagaland indefinite total shut down’ effective from Thursday evening. In a statement, the ENPO stated that “under the authority of Eastern Nagaland Public Emergency, an indefinite total shutdown all over Eastern Nagaland jurisdiction w.e.f. 6:00 pm of 18th April 2024 is hereby declared.” The ENPO, however, exempted government servants on election duty with valid ID proof, district administration, army, paramilitary & state police, medical emergencies, Fire & Emergency Services, PHED, Postal services, and ENPO, tribal bodies, ENWO, ENSF & EN  Public Emergency volunteers.
