
Dimapur, June 2 (MExN): Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization today clarified on a press statement published May 30 over “the attendance and statements” by some EN PO leaders in Viswema village for a consultative meeting with NSCN (IM) general secretary Th. Muivah. “The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization (ENPO) were authorized and officially represented by two vice-presidents namely Khaming Khiamniungan and Chingmak Chang, Jt. Secy, Mosa Konyak and P. Heno Khiamniungan, Advisor,” a note from the ENPO stated. “Incidently, the authorized representatives wish to earnestly clarify, that the statements as given particularly in the last paragraph was never stated as mentioned. The ENPO is neither an instrument/ tool or party to any in particular,” the note stated. The ENPO said it is “a party to all and friends to all”.
“The ENPO shall be compelled to review such misgivings and statements with seriousness in future and at the same time appeals to all media for cautiousness for misreporting, misinformation and modifications that may lead to misgivings and misunderstanding,” the ENPO added.
