ENPO non-cooperation on GPRN/NSCN lifted

Dimapur, March 28 (MExN): A special consultative meeting of the ENPO central executives members, federating units, frontal organizations, and all the Naga “political parties” represented by ENNWA of the NSCN (K), ENNWA of GPRN/NSCN (Khole/Kitovi), ENNWU of NSCN/GPRN (IM), NNC/FGN (six tribes region) and NNC (non accordist) of the ENPO jurisdiction was held on March 23, 2012 at the ENPO’s office in Tuensang.  A press note issued by P.Pongom, president ENPO and N.T Thamlong Phom, general secretary, ENPO stated that in the meeting, the house decided to lift the non-cooperation movement declared on GPRN/NSCN (Khole/Kitovi) on December 29, 2011 for violating the December 18, 2007 resolutions after detail deliberations. 

It may be mentioned that the group tendered a letter of apology to the ENPO office, the same which was published in local dailies on February 28, 2012.  The note further stated that the house after listening to the views and suggestions of the members present in the meeting, unanimously resolved to re-affirm the December 18, 2007 resolutions, which was subsequently reaffirmed on November 17, 2009 in Kiphire and December 23, 2011 in Tuensang that no bloodshed shall take place within the ENPO jurisdiction by any group under any circumstances.
