DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 21 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) has reminded the Government of Nagaland to give its comments over the highlights of the MoS Draft on FNT so as to make way for the tripartite talk at the earliest.
It has expressed faith upon the “leadership of the 14th NLA under the Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio that the prayer, wishes and the sentiments of the people of Eastern Nagaland will not be left unheeded but would be respected and addressed without further delay.”
The ENPO highlighted that during the official meeting of its executives with the Chief Minister of Nagaland on August 23, 2024 at CMO Kohima, the Organisation had submitted a letter requesting the State Government to give its comments on the highlights of the MoS Draft on FNT.
The ENPO again served a reminder note on September 14 appealing the State Government to be more serious in its approach and to uphold the spirit of collective responsibility as envisaged in Article 164 (2) of the Constitution of India.
Media must obtain prior approval
Meanwhile, the ENPO executive through its meeting on September 17, 2024 at Dimapur, unanimously resolved that, any print media house, scholars, writers, YouTubers, individuals or groups wishing to telecast, broadcast or make any press statement or write any article on ENPO FNT issues “shall do so only with the prior approval from the ENPO office.”
