ENPO to ‘settle’ Tobu issue June 6

Dimapur, May 18 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ organization (ENPO) will “hold a peace treaty” at Tobu village on June 6 at 10 am. The meeting will be held under the special committee of the ENPO for settlement of the Tobu dispute. The committee is purely a neutral body to bring about a settlement of the dispute between the parties, a note from the ENPO executive stated. “No governments,” underground factions, tribes or groups other than the aforementioned special committee are “allowed to interfere” in the issue so as to settle the dispute between the parties once and for all. The concern special committee members are informed to reach Tobu town and report to the ADC Tobu by June 2 positively.
