Dimapur, November 30 (MExN): The Eastern Naga Students Federation (ENSF) has directed all the six federating units that the 2nd phase of indefinite democratic agitation will begin by boycotting of 58th Statehood Day celebration and restricting of all relating activities by not allowing to host the flag in all Eastern Nagaland. It will also boycott Virtual Hornbill Festival celebration. 

The first day of the proposed “democratic indefinite agitation” called by ENSF was held “peacefully and successfully” on November 30.

The ban on restriction of movement of government registered vehicles by the six federating units at respective headquarters passed of peacefully and also all the volunteers followed all COVID-19 SOPs, ENSF, President, Sepili L Sangtam stated in a press release. 

All together eleven vehicles were seized for not respecting the directives issued by the federation and that those seized vehicles will be released only when their demands are fulfilled, the federation informed.  

The Yimchungrü Akherü Arihako (YAA) and Confederation of Chang Students’ Union (CCSU) in separate press notes reported that the agitation was held successfully under its respective jurisdictions.
