Peren, November 14 (MExN): All Selected Entrepreneurs Association of Nagaland (ASEAN) — state’s young entrepreneurs selected and trained under the declaration, “The Year of Entrepreneurs” by the state government, have cried foul as the year is barely a month away and nothing substantive announcement has so far been made.
The President of the association K. Michael in a press statement has categorically blamed the government for not seriously upholding its solemn declaration and has sought immediate action and necessary implementation. “We will submit our ultimatum and fight till each of our dreams of becoming an entrepreneur is realized; the government needs to be sincere, sensitive and caring towards the young and upcoming entrepreneurs”, it stated.
“The watchword of the year’s action plan has significant rationale for the success and failure of the future DAN, for which the political house needs proper consultations amongst themselves and with other agencies while also building serious tie-ups with financial institutions, not forgetting to look out for all possible help and package from the Centre”, the note further stated.
It is also noteworthy that the trained entrepreneurs have been anticipating with courage and responsibility to begin their journey of entrepreneurship. The government must ensure that this fire of passion should not be put on for long without implementation, the note stated.
We believe in the sincerity of the DAN’s desire to implement this proclamation in letter and spirit so that the upcoming thousand entrepreneurs would ensure the state’s economy is not further drained and the integrity and honesty of the DAN may be evident to all Nagas, it stated.
