Longleng, June 3 (MExN): Yong Chingsonla Chang (Ayong) took over as the 4th president of Eastern Nagaland Women Organisation (ENWO) at the 4th general session of ENWO held at Chessore village in Tuensang on May 18. The new office bearers of the organization were formally inducted during the session in the presence of all the tribal and federating units of ENWO.
A press release from press & information secretary, ENWO informed that the new president thanked her predecessor Birila Tokiu and all the outgoing office bearers for their dedication, commitment, and hard work rendered towards the organization during their tenure. Yong Chingsonla further assured her unstinted support, commitment, and utmost dedication to work for the cause of the women of Eastern Nagaland together as a team, the release added.
The other office bearers of ENWO for the tenure 2017-2020 are: Vice Presidents – Bilili, Shojila Lachim, Yimsusangla, H Jemian, N Manchem, Lemnon Wangsha; General Secretary – Ruth Kiutsuthong; Joint Secretaries – P Ella Phom, Chilliam, Rebecca, B Tangam; Finance Secretary – O Tiazungla Phom; Social and Cultural Secretaries – Tsaosela, Alepla, Esther, Shengmao, Asenla Bekang, Cenam Konyak; Press & Information Secretary – Maipo Wallim; Treasurer – Phongla Leisha.
